MEDITATION:
The Litchfield Athletic Club offers a beginners class in Insight
(Vipassana) Meditation which will help you develop a deeper and
more relaxed awareness.In this practice of relaxed, careful, and
openmindfulness, you will learn the discipline of breath
and one pointedness. Through exercises in non-doing,
or just being, you will begin to calm and open to a
more relaxed yet alert (i.e. clear) state.

CHI

day-to-day stress. Developed in China as a healing and martial art,
Tai Chi is used to promote wellness and enhance overall health and
fitness. It is a soft, flowing, dance-like practice; helping to align,
energize, and strengthen the body.

wellness in daily living. Mr. Peters has worked as a corporate manager
and a corporate training consultant. He has a master's degree in educational
design, and has studied Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Pa Qua, and Shiatsu techniques
with a series of skilled, generous teachers. |
MASSAGE
