Starting with exercise, our instructors are committed to ensuring your fitness activities with us remain fun and challenging. We’re a family oriented team of professionals, certified or working on certification, and dedicated to keeping you well-informed, self-assured, and focused upon your fitness goals.

 




PERSONAL TRAINING :

Personal Training is perhaps the most directed and efficient use of precious time set aside for exercise. It will provide you with a workout regimen custom designed to meet your individual concerns and to achieve desired results.

Personal training can serve as a guide through an often confusing array of fitness facts and figures. Training will resolve your individual questions and insure visible results from your efforts.

All client programs are based on the most current research and information in the fitness field.

Our trainers are responsible for designing the most effective workout regimens for each client who trains. They also develop clients’ short and long term health and fitness goals, provide greater motivation, and arm clients with valuable facts and information about what works best for them and why.

Clients will use this wealth of knowledge about their own physiology to great advantage in all sorts of daily physical endeavors, including sports and other exercise activities.

All client programs are based on the most current research and information in the fitness field.

Racquetball

RACQUETBALL:

The Litchfield Athletic Club has two racquetball courts available for both instruction and for play.

Private racquetball instruction is offered by one of our fine teachers for beginners to avdanced players.

Racquetball Leagues are offered both in the Fall and Spring months, with varying levels of play depending upon skill.

Please reserve a court in advance through the Front Desk.

Carla Hooper
NUTRITION / WEIGHT MANAGEMENT:

Our staff nutritionist, Carla Hooper, MS, RD offers a variety of
consultation services which can be tailored for anyone interested in
sports nutrition, weight loss/maintenance, or diet related diseases.
Carla can help you attain your personal goals through a supportive,
structured program of diet and exercise modification

These sessions are geared for the individual who wants to lose weight but does not want the "hand-held" education or have the time to commit to a more enduring program. Also for the individual who has specific nutritional concerns pertaining to food allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, hypoglycemia, menopause, chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome, vegetarianism, candidiasis, fibromyalgia, and HIV/AIDS.

Carla is able to fashion a program which is specific to
your life-style so that losing weight and achieving optimal health is something that can last a lifetime.
This non-diet approach is employed to make changes gradually and to facilitate incorporation of these new behaviors into the whole person
